By now all of you should have gotten your magazine. I hope most of you voted. If you have not yet decided whom to vote for as Membership Officer, let me give you more information than I published in the magazine. I did not make any statement on what I can do for the club , as most items need the approval of the Officers and I don't like to make promises I can't deliver ( I am not a politician). In the January BOD meeting, I was asked to be the Chairperson of a newly created committed, simply named Membership Committed and I said that duty should be that of Richard Timmins as it was His suggestion. I am His co-chair. Roy Nelson is also on the committee. The committee has many great ideas and some will be implemented soon, as they do not need BOD approval. The best measure for increasing membership is to recruit new ones or even have former members re-join. I personally have recruited 8 members, how many have you? I will continue to be diligent in my duties as Membership Officer, should I get re-elected and I hope you will vote for me.
