We stayed at the Tropicana for the first time last trip, and we really liked it.

We used our Hilton points, as the Tropicana is now a Doubletree..they even gave us a bag of their signature warm chocolate chip cookies upon check-in.

Tried the standard $20 trick and had amazing results..upgraded to a huge suite in the top of the new tower.

Quiet hotel in a great location on the Strip. I would definitely stay there again..
