Sounds like we grew up about the same time and pretty close to the same place. I lived in Bellflower.

I had two uncles that both had card rooms, one in Seal Beach and one in Long Beach.

I worked in card rooms later on and then owned 3 of them.

I can't think of anything I ever did in my life time that was more fun than owning and operating a card room grin
