Last night I received a phone call with Mr. Izumi. Nervously, he said "Hello sir, can I call you Ron" I just wanted to thank you for what you did for me. I won't bore you with the conversation, too emotional, we were both fighting back the tears. I would say that he was very happy with them, his wife thanked me earlier when I gave them to her, along with a big hug. As I told you they will take some to Europe and pass out during some WWII veterans event next month. My friend Mike is a huge history buff, when I was reading him what Mr. Izumi had done Mike wanted to pay for half the chips ... begged me. I said no he earned these. He has a couple utube videos you can research, but here is some good reading of a Barstow veteran.
