I have been using Epson Perfection 4490 Photo scanner and PICASA for years to do all my scanning. The other day I tried to scan some chips to show here on the Board and I had a problem. The scan went OK but when I hit Import the following message came up "An error has occurred while renaming." and I could not get the scanned picture to go into PICASA as it normally does. I restarted the scanner and computer and unplugged all the cords and put them back. I still get the same message when I do a scan.
Any help would be appreciated.
