I completely understand what you are feeling.

Maybe I can shed some light on this for you. Think to yourself, what is it you want from the club and the Board of Directors who are the leaders of the club?. When you have decided that then ask the two candidates either publically on the boards or privately for their answer. See what they say, what they are willing to commit to and try to achieve. It's always easy to pick a popular person or a friend but I would think who answers your question or questions best should be your choice for this office. Read their statements in the magazine and judge their aspirations for our club.

Asking your questions publically could also answer questions other members might want to know. That is up to you. Casting your vote gives you a say in the direction of the club and in the end the real winner is the club itself.

I appreciate the chance to offer you some clarity on this and I sincerely hope you cast your ballot for who you think is best for the position.
