I use the paper flips and scotch tape to close the top, I don’t like staples either. This way you can still let the chip slide out the side and look at it. I also keep them in a 12 slot binder page and in binders for safe keeping and to show or sell and makes it easy to scan. The paper flip don’t have the acid in the plastic that destroy or bleeds the color out of the chips and that’s why they use them for coins too.
