First ....sorry to hear your Father has passed. I didn’t know him , but I believe I have heard his name before.
I would try to figure out when the next Atlantic City meeting is. (I’m sure some one will reply with details). I would attend a meeting...bring the chips to show. There are many, many great honest people in our “chipping” community...but some people’s opinion of value could differ from another.
If you present a group of people the chips...you might get a better consensus....and possibly sell part of all of the collection.
You can look in books and price guides, but they are only that...”guides”. Basically a chip is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. The market changes often. You might have a chip worth $100 ..but nobody wants it for $10.
