He also told me that I could buy the table and all of the jetons and plaques for $10,000. I didn't ask him to tell me who to talk to because I was not financially liquid enough to make such a purchase.

I too believe the table, and the jetons and plaques are still somewhere on the property. If they had been sold, I'm sure there would have been a redemption notice published before the purchase would have been completed. While one could not put the jetons into play on other table games, one could use them for buying in on other table games. The first few times I went to use a $100 jeton to buy into a blackjack game, the dealer(s) told me I couldn't use them to buy in. I had to tell them to get a pit boss to verify that I could buy in using them...and they did, every time!
