Again I parked a Long way from the Convention Center and it was dark by the time I left on Friday, so it was a Beach walking back! But this year I brought a generic grocery bag with me, and put the plastic Coin Show bag inside of that, so nobody would know where I was walking from and what I might be carrying. Still, one bum did yell out, "What are you carrying, a purse?!"
A lot of chips, but mostly stuff I already had, although I found a few gems inside the boxes. More metal tokens around, as always. The Fremont key fob has a bust of John F. Kennedy on the reverse side.
A few more - a beautiful matched pair of dollar tokens from the Eldorado and Silver Legacy for the Women's Invitational Bowling Thing. The golden Rincon Tribe medallion has no denomination. It was, I believe, given out to well-deserving employees as an incentive for good behavior. No Long Beach bums ever got one.
