Just back from a Mexican Riviera cruise to Puerto Villarta, Cabo San Lucas and Mantzalan where I discovered casinos there have expanded from "slots only" to table games. All had roulette, but used generic chips with seashore themes like seahorses, starfish, etc. There are two in Puerto Villarta (WinClub and Emotion), and several in Cabo but the tables are not open until after 6 p.m.-- they have nice chips but they would not sell them to me.
All play Black Jack and 3-Card Poker. I was told that Mantzalan has five full casinos. None of the casinos will take U.S. dollars, but you have to use pesos including some requiring players purchase $100 oversized buy-in chips and take to tables where dealer cashes to smaller value chips The scan below shows two different issues of BetG chips mixed with BJ. I played blackjack and used the larger value chips (Blue $100) as bets to get more of the smaller chips. Move from one table to the other in order to pocket your chips. Any questions, send me an email. I actually won and had a good time -- threw down a few shots while biting a small lime.
