NCR: How I resolve my "Chip Rack 17" contest Extra!

As you may or may not know, my Super Bowl contest with the prize of a used Chip Rack 17 ended in a tie.

Both Archie Black (HLM-001) and Keith E. Bearden (R-8344) picked the Eagles to win, with the total points scored of 74. Archie picked 4 total field goals scored, while Keith picked 6. Since the actual # of field goals scored was 5, they were both one away. A tie.

I have had several suggestions on how to break this tie. One was that I should give it to Archie because the Eagles did score 4 field goals (+1), while the Eagles never scored 6. I rejected that as their was no rule that said "closest without going over." If I had, who knows, maybe Archie or Keith might have adjusted their pick.

Another was to give the book to the newer Club Member as "Archie probably has one". I don't know that to be true, and maybe Archie wants to give it to someone if he wins. Had to reject that one as well.

Here's is what I am going to do. Archie posted his guess first, so he gets the choice between "ODD" or "EVEN". Tonight's CT Lottery Play 3 NIGHT drawing will determine the winner. I don't care about the actual #, just whether it is odd or even.

Archie, please let me know your choice.
