I just can't resist trinkets and stuff. I picked up this cool Key Fob today to add to my collection. It feels like it is brass over plastic - too light to be all brass to heavy to be all plastic.

My too clever scanner (Epson V500 Photo) tilted the left scan trying to help me out. It doesn't matter how I place the item on the scanner bed it always aligns the scans like that. I used the great free photo editing program "Gimp" to straighten the scan on the right but for the life of me I could not get an acceptable rotation on the other scan. I guess I need to go to Gimp School - or better figure out how to tell my scanner to STOP auto rotating things when I scan them.
