Funny thing, we discussed that tonight and I said something similar. Get on before Sunset and we have a half hour to watch the change. I think that's the plan. Also good to know about the party car, because we aren't going to slug down 3 drinks, take photos and watch out the windows. I think I can hold off for 30 minutes...

As for monorail comments I had remembered that from when it first went in and I'm happy that people here have the personal experience. We might get a 24 hour pass, do the stops and have some fun. Back when that was in the planning stage and taking years longer to complete, I always thought a ride to downtown would be perfect. Of course, the casinos on the strip would think I'm nutty. It serves the Strip and they don't want to lose anyone to downtown.
