Fellow Collectors,

As I am sure most of us are aware that the USPS stopped letting merchandise to be shipped via Large Flat Envelopes. The current rate for shipping chips to Canada is around 9.00 and 13.00 to Europe for the first ounce. After a good post a couple days ago I was able to contact Stamps.com which I use to ship all chips because I hate going to the post office to get a different answer every day about how much I should pay. Anyways the tech team updated my account and now I can ship again using Large Flat envelopes but now they get sent to a processing center. They did say the package would only be delayed a day or two.

So with the update shipping a chip to Canada and Europe is around 5.00 but the more you ship the higher the price goes about 1.00 per ounce. But it sure beats 9.00 and 13.00 for package service.

Please note that I have not sent an item yet this way but hope to in a couple of days.

In case anyone was wondering Stamps.Com cost 16.00 per month but if you are like me and put a value on time and gas the 16.00 pays for itself in no time.
