Yes, I recall the chip color as a light brown or "ochre." My description, not necessarily that of Paul-son. I'd guess one would have to know the casino owners or have gotten there when the chips first came out, perhaps they had a couple of spares they would have sold. Now, I think all are "accounted for" and cannot leave the premises. Perhaps some day, if the chip series is replaced by something altogether different, the old ones will become available for purchase. I have become resigned in my old age to the belief that most drop chips will remain off-limits to collectors. I lose sleep over freight trains howling by at night, cats screaming at opossums, and neighbors setting off fireworks and the occasional gunshot; can't lose sleep worrying about drop chips.
