Does anyone know the background of this chip? I've seen three examples. Spinetti calls it "altered" in his auction.
I'm guessing it's a real casino chip as the ten cent hot stamp is put on a blank reverse so it seems reasonable that it had both sides hot stamped at the same time. Also this example and mine both have a red staining.
