Good Day Chip Collectors, there has been a lot of rhetoric on how to grow our club on the CB over the last week. I have an opinion as do all of us. My opinion is quite simple, let's try all of the solutions that have been laid out. It is entirely possible that we may stop the bleeding a little bit. But, it is my opinion that the youth of today, do not have any interest in our hobby, stamp collecting, coin collecting and any other of the collectibles. So if you can recruit, do that. If you want to sponsor a manager and he is willing to give us hard evidence of his abilities, maybe we should give him/her a try. We should try as many of these possible solutions as possible. A few words on errors in type, or any other problems with my text or spelling, even though I use spell-check, I miss quite a few in all of the pages I compose. Please, Please, shoot me an email and let me know what I did. I may never know if you do not let me know.
I know I miss putting prices on some items, and even though you are not interested please let me know. Sometimes it takes an entire cycle of 2-3 months before I discover some of my mistakes and that is way too long
There are a few chippers out there that do point out the blatant errors; kudos and a high 5 to you, you know who you are so I won’t embarrass anyone by naming them in this little “info commercial”, lol. Thanks for doing this.

This place is a zoo. It's the size of a casino on the strip, but filled with lowlifes like myself. Children were running around everywhere. It's the closet Casino to LA (non-card room) and so all of the Moron(s) go there to save $5 in gas it would take to go to the nicer places in Palm Springs. Another Tiger 9 Pai Gow table! Is this a common thing I'm unaware of, or just a California Indian Casino Rip-Off? My winning streak was interrupted here as I pushed 2 pai gow hands in a row, and took off, just a couple of bucks down from the Progressive and Fortune bets. Won a few bucks in the free slot play, so I paid full price for these chips. A new rack, but already dirty from constant use.

NANCY AND I WERE ON THE WAY UP TO MICHIGAN TO ONE ALBERT SCALZO’S BATTLE CREEK SHOWS WHEN WE STOPPED THERE. IT WAS A PRETTY NICE RIVERBOAT AS RIVERBOAT’S GO. IT DID NOT SMELL QUITE AS BAD AS IT’S SISTER BOAT IN MISSOURI. SO WE OVER STAYED OUR TIME ALLOWANCE, MOSTLY BECAUSE I WAS HAVING FUN AT THE POKER TABLE WAY DOWN IN BOTTOM OF THE BOAT, AND SHE WAS WINNING ON THE MACHINES.
THE CHIPS ON THIS RIVERBOAT WERE BORDERLINE THRASHED, SO I HAD A LOT OF LOOKING AND SORTING AND TRADING OF CHIPS IF I SPOTTED A CLEAN ONE IN SOMEBODY ELSES STACK I WOULD ASK FOR IT IN TRADE. YOU KNOW TALKING ABOUT THAT A BIT, I THINK ONLY ONE TIME I WAS REFUSED A TABLE TRADE, THAT WAS A VERY QUIET LADY THAT MUST OF FIGURED I WAS UP TO NO GOOD…LOL.
ANY WAY NANCY WOULD SWING BY THE POKER ROOM AREA TO SEE IF I WAS READY TO GO ABOUT EVERY HALF AN HOUR. FINALLY BECAUSE THERE WERE NO WINDOWS AND I COULD TELL BY THE HANDS ON MY WATCH IT WAS DARK OUT, AND WE NEEDED TO LOG SOME MORE MILES BEFORE CRASHING AT A MOTEL. THAT WE DID; AND I THINK WE DROVE STRAIGHT NORTH TO VINCENNES.
AFTER I GOT IN THE ROOM I UNLOADED MY POCKETS AND FOUND I DID NOT HAVE THE CHIPS IN THE BEST CONDITION DESPITE OF ALL OF MY SORTING AND TRADING. I LET THEM SIT IN WATER ALL NIGHT AND GOT SOME OF THE DIRT OFF OF THEM.
I CANNOT SAY IT WAS THE BEST HARVEST I EVER DID, BUT NANCY AND I BOTH HAD A VERY NICE BREAK DURING OUR TRIP AND ENJOYED OURSELVES WHILE WE WERE AT THE CASINO AZTAR, NOW KNOWN AS THE TROPICANA. I DID GET ENOUGH CHIPS TO LAST ME SEVERAL YEARS…REGGIE

MANY YEARS AGO I STARTED MY POSTING, BY POSTING “A SET OF THE DAY” I THINK I HAD ABOUT 300-400 SETS ALL TOGETHER. THAT WAS A LOT OF FUN BACK THEN.
AND NOW, I WILL START HAVING A REGULAR SET OF THE DAY WITH MY OTHER FEATURES WHEN I DISPLAY A “PAGE OF THE DAY”.
