I had been to Las Vegas in 2001 with family and my brother-in-law bought keychains that held a chip and game one to everyone. I thought it was cool. About a year later, I was looking through a box and found some things from my first trip to Las Vegas as an adult. My two best friends and I had stayed at Vegas World, and I thought it would be cool to get some Vegas World chips and put them into keychains for my friends. I searched on the internet and found one for sale. I then found this site and asked if anyone had any for sale. Charles Kaplan sold me one and sent me a copy of the club magazine. I became interested in the site and the hobby and decided to get each of the $1 chips that had been on the tables of all of the casinos I had been to. I stayed on the site, became a collector, expanded my collection and four years after I found the site, I joined the club. I didn't expect much out of the membership, but I wanted to support the hobby.
