A little while ago I asked and was sent some leaflets about the Club and when I sell on Ebay, if the buyer is a name that I don't recognise then I send one of the leaflets with their purchase. Not sure if anything has ever come from it but it costs me nothing and I figure if it inspires just one or two people to at least have a look at what the Club is about, and maybe join up, then why not?

I would suggest that if everyone just does something really small like this, then why not. Same logic as smiling at people and saying Good Morning if you pass someone in the street, saying Thank You to someone who holds open the door for you, or holding that door open for someone else. Costs you nothing, makes you feel good for a moment and maybe, just maybe, in this case you introduce someone new to our Club. No harm if nothing comes of it but a possible good deed.
