Todd, good post. I have not considered slabbing much. But what you say is telling... If someone was not willing to buy a
high $ card unless it was graded... it means grading adds value. In our case, pun intended :0 If the Club took on the role of
starting a chip grading division. We could control all aspects of the process. We could also keep track of populations. If a collector wants to
remove a chip from the slab... thats fine, but I'd bet that when they would sell it again, it would be along with the open case... because it would represent one of the known chips in population instead of a new chip added to the population. Lets call it "Blockchain Chipping" or "Crypto-Slabbing" and do an IPO grin
