I am an on again/off again collector and frequent reader of the Chip Board and a 5 +/- year member of the club. To me - the most important resource, and I have no idea how it is connected to the club or this board, is the Chip Guide. Without the chip guide, there would be no hobby for me. I would be curious how many unique users there are of this resource, and how many of those are members of the club? Could use of the chip guide be made exclusive to club members? Could there be a separate fee to be a member/have access to the chip guide that could be used to promote its use and club membership?

The other key resource to chip collecting is of course Ebay. On any given day there are 10,000+ chips listed for sale. The target market for new members is right there and easy to identify and to reach. That is where I would put my efforts to increase both awareness and membership.
