J M & C. Could it be one person,s initials (J. Mc....).

Could the lock be a part of his name? (John McLoughlin for example?)

Rather than a farm could the horse represent horse racing and the rooster represent cock fighting (are those fighting spurs on the legs of the rooster?)

The bar and padlock strikes me as something used to lock a stall door

Then again maybe the chips were used by the Maryland Jockey Club. Pic of logo below. Not quite a match!! Any other M Jockey Clubs out there?

In any event, a letterhead, playing cards, ashtrays, etc would probably be needed to affirm an attribution.
