I saw an amazing sight yesterday. A fly-by of hundreds of Canadian geese. Living in Phoenix for the last fifty years I have seen numerous Vs flying over on the way somewhere. The numbers yesterday were completely unprecedented. Coming out the Goodwill store in Scottsdale I heard some honking and looked up expecting to see a V filling over and was surprised to see four Vs in a line and another line of four coming in the distance. When the second flow over there was another one coming and another line came after the third line. The geese like to stop at the water hazards on the Scottsdale golf courses and other man made lakes in the area.
