In 1982 with another couple we saw Frank Sinatra perform at Caesar Palace, had front row center seats. After the performance Frank came out for a bow, and my wife Kay offered him a long stem red rose, and he took the rose, put the de thorned stem in his mouth and took another bow. We went upstairs to the fancy restaurant, can't remember the name, and ordered wine and dinner. Twenty minutes later Mr. & Mrs. Frank S., Mr. & Mrs. Kurt Douglas, Mr.& Mrs. Bob Hope, and two other couples, I forgot names, sat at a table for eight next to our table. We didn't want to stare or bother them for autographs, or photos. About 20 minutes later Frank S. got up and asked Kay did you give me the rose, she said yes, his reply was that was very nice thanks and sat down. This event became duplicated at many of his future performances. We still listen to his songs on Sirus XM while driving.
