Pete: Think you can still find some real slot machines at the Orleans, Palace Station, and Downtown try the Four Queen's and El Cortez (they both still have some silver strike machines) and I think the El Cortez still have some dollar machines that actually drop the tokens instead of tickets. Also you might try the Main Street casino for reel machines. If you look for them you probably can find them at other casinos as well.

If you are hungry I would try the BBQ ribs at Ellis Island (a little dive east of the Flamingo on Koval Street) they begin serving at 4 PM. Get a club card and they will give you a discount on the meal. Also understand they have a great steak dinner but have not tried it yet. For a low budget meal we like the buffet at Palace Station. For more upscale buffets try the Orlean's or South Point.

Anyway have some fun, win some money and look for some chips to collect. In other words, HAVE FUN.
