I used to make my own leis to give to friends flying back to the Mainland. I'd wrap spam musubis, fried chicken, waffle dogs, Leonards Malasdas and chocolate MacNuts with ribbon and tie together into a long lei. It's weighed a ton, but on the plane flight home, they didn't starve! LOL!
