Hi, Rory. I travel to Goa every year. Was there last a year ago. Wonderful place. Like a cross between Hawaii and Vegas. Can tell you everything. First thing you need to know is that the only casinos that are real Vegas like casinos are on the boats in the river, Deltin Royale, Jaqk, etc. Anything land based will be electronic machines, although most use chips as well. You just press buttons and there are no cards dealt. At least one casino, in the Hyatt Hotel, hilariously deals cards from a shoe, but face down and you aren’t allowed to touch them! The shoe reads computer chips in the cards, and tells you what you have. They all charge admission fees, but all either give you some no cash value chips for your admission fee or food vouchers or both, so that is actually a plus. Any other questions, please ask.
