Re: Well that’s comforting

Shocking... to say the least.

It's not as though I made an allegation of criminal activity attempt with my mail; it was the USPS who contacted me with a letter of validation to inform me of a mail forwarding order with instructions to contact them if it was not I who made the change and, upon me following their instructions, it was them who assigned me a case number while explaining they will investigate. I actually talked face-to-face with the postmaster who even told me the name of the city the mail should be forwarded to as he explained he could not tell me the person's name. He gave me the postal inspector phone number, I called; and they explained they will investigate and, three days later they inform me of "no pattern" of other mail going to that address even though they have ALL the information they need; original forwarding form stating the person making the change and address. It seems that person is being more protected than I. Then, on top of all this the PBSO tells me there is nothing they can do. I have not yet received my most important mail and now they are telling me it was "probably" forwarded to a rerouting distribution center in order to return it to me which can take up to ten days.
