I wonder if anyone else has encountered this. Last week, I found that Ebay postage was not being charged to my PayPal account (which had been my primary payment method for years), but was instead being charged to my bank account. I learned this when PayPal notified me that the bank had rejected my purchase of postage ($2.61), and upon further investigation I found that my bank was charging me a $30 NSF fee every time PayPal charged $2.61 for postage. $90 poorer . . .

For some reason, between Ebay or PayPal they had decided to skip charging the PayPal account and had gone straight to the bank account. In addition, if the bank account was empty they were supposed to charge a credit card instead - but they never did. Like I said, I am $90 poorer because of this.

I have changed my Ebay settings to charge their fees to a different account. I hope that stops the bleeding. I( have replenished the bank account to halt those NSF fees.

Has anyone else seen anything like this? I tried to contact PayPal, but their computers do not want to talk to me and have suggested I call India instead.
