Small Casino. Friendly people. On the way down US 95 is Lake Havasu CA, an 18 mile drive from the highway. Sign says not to annoy the wild burros on the road. I didn't see any, they must have had the day off.
The casino is not much to see. Not at all flashy or casino looking. It's on 3 levels with lots of stairs. For me on my Riding Lawnmower (Mobility Scooter) I had to go outside and up the side of the place to another set of doors for each level. They did however try to make things more accessible as they have a lift for wheelchairs. Very personable security guard saw me scooting around and was quite happy to help me get on the lift and she operated it from the floor 5 feet above me. It goes up the 5 feet to the next level (restaurant, players club) and all of a sudden as I motor forward, the lift begins to very slowly sink back down. I reverse the scooter to keep from being flipped over, half on half off the lift as it descends back to the main slot floor, waving good-bye to the security guard during the decent. She's calling for help, and several managers gathered by the time it reached the bottom. They decided to mark the lift out of order, and showed me the outside path.
Made my way to the top level with the 4 table games, 2 dealers standing at empty tables. A old man pit boss slouched in a chair nearby. Friendly dealer, happy to have something to do. Lost my one BJ hand... Asked the dealer if he'd give me two blue 50 cent chips as I tossed 2 $1 chips his way. "A dollar for the chips, and a toke for you." Dealer looked to the old man, who nodded OK, and I got my 50 centers.
That level with the table games has large windows overlooking the river. Sit at the bar or get a drink ( in my case, a glass of water) and sit right at the windows, slow down and watch the water. It's a Road Trip, not a commute to San Diego...
Slot club sign up gets you discounts for dining, but the best is a free ride on the ferry across the River to the Arizona Side. I'd say most of the patrons arrive that way from AZ, not the California US 95 route.
It's a joint, but a friendly place. I'd go back again.

IT WAS GETTING COLD AS WE LEFT THE RUNNING ACES TRACK, AND WE HAD A BITE TO EAT AT THEIR SNACK BAR. IT HAD STARTED TO GET DARK AND WE WERE MAKING SOME GOOD TIME IN MY DODGE DAKOTA, MAN I LOVED THAT TRUCK. ANY WAY WE WERE NEARING THE HINCKLEY AREA AND I WAS FEELING A LITTLE DISTRESSED IN THE STOMACH AREA. SO WE KICKED IT UP A NOTCH AND GOT TO HINCKLEY A LITTLE FASTER THAN OUR ORIGINAL SCHEDULING. NANCY DROPPED ME OFF AT THE ENTRANCE I FOUND A RESTROOM AND I MADE MY PIT STOP AND WAITED FOR HER TO COME IN AFTER PARKING THE TRUCK.
AFTER STOPPING TO LOOK UP AND DOWN THE CORRIDORS OF THIS RATHER HUGE CASINO, WE THOUGH WE BETTER FIND SOME SECURITY AND GET SOME HELP FINDING THE POKER ROOM. IN THIS CASINO WE FOUND OUT THAT THEY USE PAULSEN’S CHIPS ON THE BLACKJACK TABLES AND BUD JONES CHIPS IN THE POKER ROOM. HARVESTING HERE WAS JUST TIRING, NOT HARD; BECAUSE OF ALL THE WALKING YOU HAVE TO DO. AFTER I HAD MADE THE ROUNDS AND FILLED MY POCKETS IN MY CARGO PANTS, I STARTED LOOKING FOR NANCY. THIS IS ONE TIME I AM GLAD WE BOTH HAD CELL PHONES. WE HOOKED UP AND HEADED NORTH TO THE BLACK BEAR CASINO WHERE WE HAD RESERVATIONS. IT WAS VERY CHILLY WHEN WE WALKED TO THE TRUCK, CHILLY ENOUGH FOR SNOW.
THERE WAS ONE THING THAT WE DID NOT EXPERIENCE HERE, AND THAT WAS INTERACTIONS WITH ANY CASINO PERSONNEL, WE JUST HARVESTED AND LEFT. I DID TALK TO A BLACKJACK DEALER TO GET CHIPS AND A CASHIER IN THE POKER ROOM, BUT OTHER THAN THAT; THERE WAS NOTHING OTHER THAN THE CHIPS TO REMEMBER THE GRAND CASINO IN HINCKLEY, MN.
AS I SAID I DID FILL MY PANTS POCKETS AND I DID HARVEST ENOUGH AT THIS CASINO…REGGIE

BY DOING THIS YOU WILL BE IN A MORE ECONOMICAL POSTION TO TRADE FOR CHIPS YOU WANT IN YOUR COLLECTION.
I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A PROPONENT OF TRADING. I AVERAGE 2 OR 3 TRADES EVERY WEEK.
THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF DISCUSSION ABOUT TRADING ON THE CHIPBOARD LATELY. HERE ARE PROBLEMS THAT MANY PEOPLE DO NOT LOOK AT WHILE TRYING TO REASON WHY NO ONE WANTS TO TRADE WITH THEM.
1) WHEN THEY PUT UP IMAGES OF THEIR TRADERS THEY ARE FILTHY DIRTY AND/OR TOTALLY THRASHED.
2) WHEN VISITING A CASINO AND PURCHASING ONLY ONE OR TWO CHIPS YOU ARE NOT INCREASING YOUR TRADE INVENTORY, AND BY NOT INCREASING YOUR TRADE INVENTORY YOU ARE NOT INCREASING YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO TRADE.
3) TRYING TO INITIATE TRADES ONCE EVERY MONTH OR TWO, DOES NOT SERVE YOU WELL EITHER. YOU NEED TO ADVERTISE SO PEOPLE REMEMBER YOU.
4) KEEP LETTING YOUR CHIPPER FRIENDS KNOW THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN TRADING.
5) BUILD A NETWORK OF FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES THAT WILL HELP YOU OUT WHEN YOU NEED A CHIP FROM A CERTAIN CASINO.
