As a big-time Realtor and gentleman in town, I would guess that Mr. Lorber made many civic connections - Rotary club and that sort of thing. He probably wasn't too keen on mentioning his days setting up the Hong Kong cardroom (whether in the existing restaurant and bar of that name or another place).
