They are still very much in business but manufacture terra cotta, flower pots, figurines and that sort of thing. Lincoln Clay was most likely the large clay pit north of the GMcB factory. So it's possible the Weeping Willow was close by, on Route 65 as it proceeds diagonally north from central Lincoln toward Wheatland, maybe a hangout for the factory workers. Ahhh, the usefulness of also being a brick collector!

The entire history and product line of Gladding McBean in minute detail (with photos of the Lincoln Clay pits) but no mention of Weeping Willow...GMcB became the largest brick manufacturer in the West.
