Re: NCV/Tournament chips in the 1960's?

Great question, Scott. As far as I know, there were no tournament chips in the 60’s because there were no tournaments. The first World Series of Poker was at the Horseshoe in 1970, so I would guess that the Horseshoe Paulson NCV chips were the first ever tournament chips. There are Dunes Poker Room NCV chips that have always perplexed me, however. Of course general NCV chips for free play have existed forever. If anyone has any different information, I’d like to hear it.
