My Granddaughter is attending the Oxbow School about a mile down the hill from Steve's house. It is a specialized school that provides one semester of intense art training worked into the normal high school curriculum. It is a residential program and draws students from all over the US. We were very concerned as the notices on the school FaceBook pages went from "everything is OK" in the morning to "tomorrows guest speaker is canceled" to finally "Parents should monitor their email". My son and daughter in law in Mill Valley worked with my Granddaughter's mother to arrange for her to take an Uber to SFO and then take the Red Eye back home to New York. There was at least one other student at the Airport on her way home as well. We expect the school to start back up some point and complete the semester. It was a scary time - glad all worked out well for Steve & family. So many lost so much.
