A dozen years ago, I spent several days at the San Diego City Library and, by going thru old phone books and Polk Directories, found the name, address, and sometimes the owners of the over 500 cardrooms that operated in San Diego County since 1945 .
The information on many were very limited. I'd like to do a much more detailed investigation focusing on the history, (photos?), and any other information I am able to uncover. Rather than just stumble around, I would appreciate any suggestions, hints, tips, etc. that would help focus my journey of discovery .... maybe resulting in something self-published?
