A bit-o-scratching finds the following ad in Police and Peace Officers Journal of California April 1948 (pg 96 of April)

And - trying to find more info on Ms. Palmira Cotta keeps ending with apparently two families of similar names, dates and geography. Will take a bit of time to figure out any useful info - wonder if this is obfuscation on their part?
