Archie, I worked for Walter Reade Theatres for 16 yrs. Started as an usher in the Ziegfeld 12/22/68, first night was the premiere of Fiddler on the Roof. The next day they opened w/ Star Spangled Girl, Sandy Dunkin & Tony Roberts, two weeks later I was laid off. Returned in February for Cabaret. I worked in all their theatres in Manhattan & Queens. My last 11 yrs I was the General Manager for Concession for NY. The concession dept. were first in the garages behind Mayfair House (main office) in Deal. They later moved to 809 First Ave in Asbury Park. I used to have to go down to Asbury 3 or 4 times a year.
