My older sisters in the 40's went to dance's in the ballroom, all the big bands of that time played there. I went to Boy Scout camp many summers in Catalina. I took our family to many week long vacations in the 70's & 80's, everyone had a great time. We have gone in family boats, the old big white steamer, the old red sea plane, private small airplane to the landing strip on top of island, and now the Catalina Express ( from Dana Point, or Long Beach. Loved every trip, Torrey, you live in PARADISE. Oh, almost forgot my father was a member in the Jane Grey fishing club. (Dad was born in 1889 )
