To the extent that the ChipGuide image is MY

submission, I consider it my continuing right to use it. So if I submit a new California chip to the Guide and then have an eBay auction, it might be the same item (or a very similar one), and you'll see the same scan. I'm not a big fan of watermarks, reminds me of Scott's Postal Catalogues where the stamps have lines through their corners. Let's say I'm looking for a chip or referencing one, I sometimes just mention the ChipGuide number without hijacking the image. But I also would have no problem crediting the ChipGuide for the image if that's the proper etiquette ("chipiquette?"). Actually, I'm not sure my scans are "copyrighted" at all if I don't submit the Federal form (and pay the fee) for such privilege. For whatever all this rambling is worth, Webmaster Charles.

An ebay user SHOULD be using their own scans...
No question about it, but many use stock images
