We met at the Chip Chat show held in a hotel ballroom in Arcadia, I think it was, a year or two back. Stu came in on the final day (Saturday) and near the end of the event, called me over and said in a conspiratorial tone, "Players Casino in Ventura has a whole new rack out. They're Paulsons. And they're not redeeming their old Chipco set anymore."

I replied something on the order of: "Dang! I got a black $100 Chipco from them and now it's worthless?"

I expected Stu to reply that I was truly the World's Biggest Spendthrift Dummy. Instead he muttered, "Yeah. I got one, too."

He traded me a couple of their Tournament chips which I treasure in return for some new issues from up North. Nope, I have absolutely no idea how he was able to pull off that one and if anyone "officially" speaks of it, nope, I don't have any, never saw any, don't know nothing.
