Cindy and I have a condo rented in Orange Beach AL next week and a few days ago it looked like Irma was going to turn north and miss us. Now it looks like it could get there right on the day we arrive if it goes that way. I don't mind if it hits and leaves before we get there since it can make playing on the beach with my metal detector very interesting with all of the wave action. But I really don't want to spend a few days locked in my ocean facing condo listening to the wind howl. And of course the only way you get your money back is if they have a required evacuation. My daughter and her friends coincidentially have a condo rented in Destin the same week.
