Re: HAS ANYONE BEEN TO THIS SALOON IN RENO?

The original Little Waldorf Club opened during Prohibition at 343 North Virginia Street in Reno, just north of the railroad tracks. It advertised soft drinks, cigars, milkshakes, tamales, oysters, and chili. After Prohibition ended a decade later, beer and wine were added to the menu.

It was demolished in 1972 for construction of the new Eldorado Hotel & Casino.

The Little Waldorf moved to 555 West Fifth Street in 1972, then moved again in 1982 to 1661 North Virginia Street (across from the UNR campus), where it remains today.
