Back in the late 70's, stationed here in Barstow as a Marine I had 2 cars. A strong running 64 Chevy Impala and pictured behind the Anglia (?) my new 55 Sedan Delivery. I purchased it for $1,500.00. 454 big block w/ few extra's, 4 speed RC, and a rear end w/4:88 gears and ladder bars. I have sent many Marines to the back door in an instant, it was funny. Ladder bars were poorly welded and ripped the housing. Too much torque and weight for the rear. Also, my evening trips to the desert. Open the door, beer, some music, ah ah ah talk to the Woman Marine.
