I remember when I first visited several years ago, I thought it was a real ghost town.

Afterwards, I learned it was owned by the Knott Family of Knott's Berry Farm - Buena Park - Fried Chicken / Boysenberry fame.

The Mystery Shack they have have there with the water running up hill, etc. used to be at Knott's Berry Farm when I was a kid.

I guess they moved it to the desert around the 1990's, or so..
