I think it was a money clip but I've never seen one still in the jewelery. I got my gold chip from Armin about 20 years ago. I commented on the "damaged" reverse but he said "they're all like that" so I bought it. I have yet to see one that is nice on both sides.

You need that chip if you are trying to assemble a complete set of Paul-son "Sisk" samples. It's pretty scarce.
