Well, we're back to the Las Vegas Strip in the sticks again. Guess this place is busy as it's on the highway just a short drive from Oceanside. Whatever.
$5 BlackJack table. I sat down at 3rd base, and the Pit Boss informs me that there is someone sitting there. He must have been invisible and slightly squished with me on top of him. There were no chips at the positition, no drink, dealer didn't say anything, no towel on the back of the chair (or over the chips, had the guy just left for a bathroom run). No sign of life as there would be in Las Vegas. After seeing me not moving well after getting off my scooter, he made me move to anther seat. (Saving seats on a $5 table??? OK, this is not a strip casino!)
Cards dealt "Old Style": face down. I picked up the cards just a bit, not taking them off the table, but as I'm a sometimes poker player, instinctively used both hands in a "protect your hand" poker style. Pit Boss snapped at me again "Only one hand on the cards!" Excuuuuuse the Frick out of me, Damn. If you don't want us touching the cards, deal 'em face up. Leaving the table after one hand would have been my play even if it was not my usual M.O.
Outta here, on to the last place on the tour. I'd been hungry for a while, and was going to get a personal Pizza at Pauma, as their prices were not too outrageous for casino food these days. $7.50 for a personal sized pepperoni pizza. But the line was 1/2 an hour long, so I skipped it. Problem is, now I'm jonesing for a pizza. The path to the next casino was off the highway and on to the back roads that I'm guessing the tourists don't hit. A couple of blocks from the casino, in the Youth Center parking lot I see a trailer with a sign "Hot Pizza". Turned and went back to check it out. Personal Pepperoni Pizza, baked fresh, FOUR DOLLARS! Not even any sales tax. Waited 10 min for it to come up. Not super special, still very good, and a heck of a deal for the price. Had to wait a while for it to cool enough to eat it, while driving on a mountain road... If you go to Pala I'd certainly hit this food trailer, for some good cheap munchies.

GLACIER PEAKS CASINO NAME WAS DERIVED FROM THE NATIONAL PARK GLACIER NATIONAL PARK. IT IS LOCATED A FEW MILES OUT SIDE OF BROWNING, MT, WHICH IS A REAL INDIAN TOWN, MOSTLY INDIANS AND RANCHERS.
IT WAS WHILE WE WERE TRYING TO TAKE THE “GOING TO THE SUN HIGHWAY” THROUGH GLACIER PARK THAT WE HAD STOPPED TO MAKE A HARVEST AT GLACIER PEAKS. THIS WAS REALLY A TYPICAL INDIAN CASINO. WE GOT FREE T-SHIRTS, NANCY GOT A FREE BUNGI CORD AND WE BOTH GOT PLAYER CARDS. ANY WAY WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR VISIT.
I PLAYED POKER FOR ABOUT 3 HOURS, MADE MORE THAN ENOUGH TO PAY FOR MY HARVEST. AND WHILE I WAS PLAYING I FOUND OUT BY ACCIDENT OF CONVERSATION AMONGST THE PLAYERS AT THE POKER TABLE; THAT YOU SHOULD NOT TRY TO WALK OUT OF THE CASINO WITH YOUR POCKETS FULL OF CHIPS. I HAD BEEN WEARING MY HEAVY DUTY CARGO PANTS THAT HAD FOUR FRONT POCKETS AND TWO BACK POCKETS, SO I CAREFULLY POCKETED “LITERALLY’ ONLY A FEW CHIPS LESS THAN 5 IN EACH OF MY MANY POCKETS; THIS MADE IT QUITE UN-NOTICABLE WHAT IF ANY THING WAS IN MY POCKETS. THIS IS WHERE I LEARNED THAT THE OLD SAYING “FOR WARNED IS FOR BEST”. WE LEFT THE CASINO AND HEADED EAST TOWARDS MY OLD HOME TOWN GILDFORD, MT FOR A MARATHON OF VISITING OF THE HOME TOWN FOLKS.
I DID GET ENOUGH CHIPS AT THIS CASINO. REGGIE

Many Chipboard display’s list their “wares” as I HAVE BEEN COLLECTING POST CARDS FOR SEVERAL YEARS, AND HAVE SOME PRETTY COOL ONES. THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A NICE THING TO DO; SHARING THEM. NOT QUITE READY TO START SELLING THEM. ( THERE ARE VERY FEW THAT I HAVE DUPLICATES THEY ARE FOR SALE AND WILL HAVE A PRICE ALONG WITH THEIR TITLES). THAT BEING SAID; SHOULD YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE ONE OF THESE BEAUTIES THAT IS NOT PRICED, FEEL FREE TO MAKE ME AN HONEST OFFER.…REGGIE
but, most people do not realize that the “for trade” means just that. All of the items are for trade, as well. I would like to make it clear that all of my items are for trade. Please, make a note that a few of my displays do not carry the “ft” for trade heading.
That being said; please understand when you spot a rare or scarce item on my pages, does not mean that I am obligated to trade it for a common item that is submitted to me. In all cases I consider a trade to be “a mutual trade”. In which each party is benefitting from the trade equally. I PLAN ON CUTTING THE STATES DOWN TO ABOUT SEVEN + OR -; PLUS, MY SPECIAL COLLECTION (CHIPS WITH CARDS ON THEM) AND CANADA. I HAVE NOT DECIDED WHAT TO DO ABOUT MY WET CHIPS, I LIKE THEM AND ENJOY CRUISING SO, THEY MAY BE A KEEPER.

A WORD ON WHAT APPEARS TO BE DUPLICATES ON THE PAGES. THESE ARE UV OR MOLD VARIATIONS. I AM NOT GOING TO PULL THESE OUT AT THIS TIME. SHOULD THIS BECOME A NEGOTIATING FACTOR AND THE BUYER ONLY WANTS JUST ONE CHIP AND THE UV’S AND MOLDS MATTER NOT, THEN I WILL REMOVE THEM AND ADJUST THE PRICE ACCORDINGLY.
FOLKS, MANY OF THESE CHIPS ARE ALIVE, AND STILL BEING USED ON THE TABLES TODAY. SHOULD YOU BE NEAR BY A CLUSTER OF CASINOS FROM ANY PARTICULAR STATE, YOU PROBABLY CAN COME OUT AHEAD. ALSO, PLEASE KNOW THAT I CONSTANTLY OVER THE LAST 12 YEARS UP GRADED. I BOUGHT ANY NEW CASINO ISSUES WHEN THEY COME OUT FROM THE LOCAL CHIPPER THAT OFFERED THEM FOR SALE ON THE CHIPBOARD.
