I once spent a pleasant afternoon with a friend, looking at the old bricks in that town. The sugar factory is the huge brick building beside the Sacramento River as one crosses the Carquinez Straits on the I-880. Nope, we didn't get into the C & H building to steal bricks from it. Alas.
