Sorry late to the conversation. I was the 3rd party involved. It happened exactly as James said and I NEVER received an apology. I was left frankly flabbergasted when you approached in the manner you did. All three of us tried to explain but you would have none of it and said you saw it with your own eyes. This was my 3rd convention and have never had anything happen like that. Oh and we were not even doing what we were accused of.
It left a bad tast for sure but luckily I met WAY more genuinely great full, helpful, awesome folks at the convention and I spent thousands of dollars (combined at the show and with dealers who I contacted after the show).
I agree that folks without BASIC people skills should not be representing the club as a whole. That said I'm over it but when folks keeps asking "why aren't we attracting new members or why are we loosing old members, well.... This didn't help.
I agree that with Emilio that this could have been handled differently and would like to see where this rule is even posted.
