Just because someone is a member does not mean they represent the club or all it's members.

I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience but why take this out on the club and all its members because of a bad experience with one person?

As a true elected 'Leader' of the club for many years, I have done everything I can to meet and talk with new members. In fact I have been top recruiter by far in the past 2 years.
I make it a point to treat all members with respect, even new ones and have gone out of my way to make people feel welcome at the convention.

Have my efforts been negated because someone not even representing the club maybe was having a bad day or was mistaken with something he thought he saw.

There is no doubt that our membership has its fair share of people who act like an ass.
However as a whole, I would say our club membership has some of the most helpful, generous, caring and nicest people you will ever meet.

Again I am sorry to hear you had the experience you had, but I think it may be a little shortsighted to say you will basically disown the club because of one person did.
